I saw Pirates of the Carribean opening night, even though I'm not a dieheart fan. My lil bro really wanted to see it so we went. Boy, was that an adventure. First we went to this mall theatre and after standing in a line for about a half an hour we get to the front and they go "oh by the way this is the ticket only line, you don't have tickets and we're sold out." By then it was 11:59 and we were like, "bummer". But then my dad remembered that this theatre in downtown \had a showing at 12:10. So we drove into downtown at midnight (that alone is kinda freaky... passed some streat clubs with bouncers... ) and found the theatre, got tickets, went in, theatre was packed so we had to sit in the third row off to the side. We started the movie, then about thirty minutes into it we get all confused. Wait, since when has Will been on a ship and how did Elizabeth meet up with Jack (don't worry that doesn't give anything away for those of you who haven't seen it ;) )? Then the manager dude comes in and says "sorry guys, we'll give you a free ticket, but we kinda messed things up. You can leave now if you don't want to see it the messed up way." So almost everybody left, but we said, what the heck, we've come this far, why not see the whole thing, even if it is all screwie? We moved up mid-center and watched the movie in half-hour chunks that were all mixed up. Kinda fun trying to piece together how this fit into the story, or how this peice, which was supposed to come at the beginning and played second to last makes this other part make so much more sense etc. Esp. at midnight :D Yep I'm crazy. I was amused though... I thought they tried to reuse too many jokes from the first one but hey oh well... So then I saw it again last Sunday night, and I think I liked it better the mixed up way. It seemed to get a bit long in chronological order, and less exciting...

I've also bought two items off ebay for the first time and I'm really excited for them to come! I want the packages to come now... perhaps they'll be here tomorrow? (3-5 business days... if they got them shipped promptly...). I got Museum Caper, which is a Clue like game that isn't made anymore that I've wanted really badly for some time. I also got Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for GameCube... I feel kinda nerdy but I'm really excited to play...

Oh and I got my very first paycheck ever last Friday!!! I'm so excited about it, even if it wasn't very much! I've never actually gotten paid for stuff, minus allowance, but that don't count. It feels so good to have money in the pocket! ^_^
